DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT The University of Toronto Mississauga Campus was established in 1967 and has since grown over the years with many new state of the art buildings. The Campus Heart and Indigenous Build (CH/IB) project has received approval to be built. In alignment with the UTM Fibre Master Plan, all future developments are to have nearby fibre infrastructure to support connectivity needs. This project installation will ensure reliable network access to support the successful implementation of the CH/IB project and beyond. The purpose of this RTQ is to solicit responses from contractors to prequalify for  IT Fibre Infrastructure for the CH/IB project (Project Number P300-25-036)  and IT fiber infrastructure for Student center, Kaneff and Innovation complex (Project Number TBD) Scope of Work Highlights: • Conduct detailed locates and study existing site conditions both below and above ground. • Install continuous 7way, 1way, etc. micro ducts around various areas of the UTM Campus following manufacturer and consultant specifications. (Primarily outside buildings underground). • Directional boring and trenching for installation of ducts. • Install new OCCs, panels, other related components per drawings and specifications. • Air blow in new single mode micro optical fiber cables and terminations. • Install, maintain, and remove tree protection fencing and associated measu
