The WCB is inviting your firm to submit a Proposal for the following: to conduct a cost, efficiency, and effectiveness audit of the WCB's Wage Loss Benefit Program, including preparing detailed written reports based on this review. Description of Services The WCB requires the Contractor to perform the following services: The Contractor shall conduct a cost, efficiency and effectiveness audit of the Wage Loss Payment Program in accordance with the scope described herein. The audit will be a program audit, focusing on the internal administration of the Wage Loss Benefit Program. The audit shall: a.Collect the qualitative and quantitative information necessary to assess the WCB's ability to administer the Wage Loss Benefit Program in an efficient, effective and value-added manner; b.Include a jurisdictional review to benchmark WCB processes against other Canadian workers compensation boards or similar entities; c.Focus on WCB's application of the various wage loss benefit policies and overall administration of the Wage Loss Benefit Program, assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures and controls in place; d.Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of processes in place to identify worker categories for the proper application of payment policies; e.Recommend changes to policies and processes that reduce the complexity of calculations while maintaining compliance with the WCA, with the goal of reducing manual calculations; f.Recommend standards for sufficient and appropriate evidence to support wage loss payments that reduce administrative effort while meeting policy requirements; and g.Include any other recommendations the Contractor considers appropriate to enhance the cost, efficiency and effectiveness of the Wage Loss Benefit Program. The purpose of this RFPQ is to pre-qualify vendors that can deliver high-quality, evidence-based testing services and give MPI flexible access to specialized expertise and delivery capacity across a diverse application landscape. Through this Pre Quailification, MPI aims to improve the quality, consistency, and timeliness of testing outcomes while strengthening testing as an enterprise capability that supports secure, reliable, accessible, performant, and operationally ready solutions. Under the resulting Pre-Qualification: No minimum volume of work is guaranteed; Each request for service will define the specific scope, service requirements, deliverables, timelines, and engagement constraints, and may vary significantly in scope and complexity; and MPI retains sole discretion in selecting the preferred vendor or vendors for each request for service, including where independence or specialized expertise is required. MPI may, in its sole discretion, reopen this Request for Pre-Qualification at any time during the Term for the purpose of accepting applications from additional vendors to join the roster for the remainder of the Term. MPI is under no obligation to conduct any refresh process, add any additional vendors, or maintain any minimum number of pre-qualified vendors, as more fully described in the RFPQ document.
