Les services de consultant (« Services ») comprennent l’évaluation, par une expertise externe, du niveau de conformité du projet NEDA, notamment de sa composante 4, par rapport aux exigences sociales applicables. L’évaluation portera sur le degré de conformité de la méthodologie, en lien avec les dispositions des accords de financement, y compris celles des législations et des réglementations selon les normes des procédures nationales ; Cette évaluation portera également sur le processus, les exigences des huit (8) PAR élaborés et mis en œuvre et les bonnes pratiques des projets du secteur de l’électricité. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank (the Bank) towards the cost of the Second Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The aim of the consulting services (“the Services”) is to undertake a municipality-wide climate-resilient urban infrastructure needs’ assessment, stakeholder engagement and public participation process, infrastructure prioritization, feasibility studies, climate risk assessments, preliminary and detailed engineering designs, preparation of environmental and social instruments, transfer knowledge to municipal staff, and preparation of complete procurement documents for two (2) prioritized infrastructure investments per municipality in accordance with KUSP II’s Program Operations Manual (POM) requirements. The Consulting Services is expected to be for a period of seven (7) calendar months from the date of contract commencement. 3.
